Four-year-old Program

Children may be enrolled at Bundoora Pre-School as per the Banyule City Council enrolment policy.

Parents are required to complete an enrolment form, a copy of which can be downloaded here or collected from the pre-school, and to return the form, along with the appropriate booking fee, to the Banyule City Council.

Children beginning the four-year-old program at Bundoora Pre-School must turn four (4) years of age by 30 April of the year they attend.

Children can be enrolled in the four-year-old program as of 1 March after their second birthday.

Three-year-old Program

Eligibility - please note that children must turn three (3) years of age on or before 30 April, of the year they will attend pre-school, to be accepted for enrolment into our three-year-old kinder program. In order to commence at pre-school, a child must have turned three (3) years of age.   For example, the kinder year may commence on 2 February, but if an enrolled child does not turn three until 25 March, they may not begin the program until that date*.

In the event that a waiting list is required, positions that become available will be allocated based upon the date that each application (including enrolment deposit) was received.

Holding a position pending a child turning three years of age - late starters:

If a child enrolled in the three year old program turns three between the beginning of term one and 30 April (ie, does not commence at the beginning of term), a holding fee of 50 per cent pro-rata per week, for the weeks they do not attend in first term, is payable to hold their position. Full fees will apply from the time the child starts attending.

The fees for late starters must be paid on or before the parent/teacher interview date, which is held in the first week of term, and is notified to parents at the AGM. Parents/carers of late starters will receive their invoice for fees payable for term one, prior to the start of the term.
